Free Tuition Fee in Cebu Universities

President Duterte has approved and signed a free tuition for 112 state universities and colleges in the Philippines. This was signed on the 3rd day of August 2017 after their meeting between the law makers and enomic managers in Malacañang.  Many law makers opposed the bill because of insufficient fund but they Duterte still approved the bill. The President was convinced for the benefits of the bill will outweigh its hefty cost.  The congress will not find a way on how to fund the bill.  This bill will cost around 100 billion pesos which the government can’t afford but lawmakers say that only around 14 billion pesos is needed for this bill.
