"I had read some mixed reviews of this resort before I booked my stay. I have to say that most of the negatives were unfounded. The resort is made up of native style buildings. It is made of bamboo but, it is done very well. It is decorated very nice and is well maintained. It is beautiful! One complaint I had read was that the air conditioning did not work properly. I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which is the entire second floor. There was only air con in the bedrooms and they were window type. It did not get super cold in the rooms but, it was cool enough. There are also double doors in the bedrooms and living room that you can open at night and get a good breeze off the sea. The small refrigerator however did not work too good. The beach was not very wide but, the water was great! At first the water is a little rocky but, it turns to very nice sand. The water is shallow so you can go out very far. If you go to where there are plants and coral the snorkeling is pretty good. There were no sea urchins to step on unless you went out very far! The food in the restaurant was reasonable for a beach resort and was pretty good. It does take awhile for the food to be prepared but, that was OK. The dishes available that were not seafood or Filipino were limited and most were fried. However, there are several restaurants in the market area a few minutes walk away that offer more variety. The staff was great! They were very friendly and got to know us and our dog Sam after just one day! I felt like we were the only guests. We are already looking forward to going back next year for another relaxing stay! "

"The stuff is very kind and relaxed. They tell you at you arrival that special needs like cleaning the room or towels must be asked for. The food is awesome and the price and value of the food matched. The view is great. Of course there is high and low water. We're in the Philippines. No reason to complain and high is during day time. Activities are available, billard, island hopping, sunset crusade and more. Free shuttle to the port is also a provided. I liked it there. I will go back. "
