We stayed at this hotel for the first time 4 years ago. It was affordable but a little tired. Since then they have done many renovations to the room. Now they are very modern and very clean. The staff are great and house keeping is always there zif you need anything. As usual we will be going back there next year as well. The rates are still reasonable, and you feel safe in this hotel

We have stayed there 4 times now and rarely choose another hotel when we stay in Manila. The location is great, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and comfortable for this price range so basically have tried many different hotels before, I have found the most suitable here. Of course can go next door and pay three times as much if you like, but the Rothman is absolutely fine for me as a Westerner and my wife who is a local loves it too.
